Renovation of Courts at Greenhill, Carrick on Suir

Scoil Mhuire, Greenhill, Carrick on Suir wanted to renovate two of their existing ballcourts. The surface on their existing ballcourts had begun to break down and the ballcourts were becoming unusable.

NJD were appointed to design, tender, supervise and sign off on the renovation of the ball courts. Funding was being partly provided by The Sports Capital Programme. The project therefore needed to be managed in line with the Captial Works Management Framework.

 

Once the design drawings and specifications were completed by NJD, and signed off by the school, they were tendered out to interested contractors in an open tender.

 

NJD Consulting Engineers reviewed all tenders, prepared a tender report and recommended a contractor to be appointed by the the school.

 

We supervised the construction work throughout the build, dealing with contractor queries and preparing inspection reports along the way, and signed off on the works on completion.
