SPECTATOR STAND AT ROSCREA HURLING CLUB
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY

We were appointed as civil and structural engineers for this hurling club spectator stand. The stand was designed within budget following a successful fundraising campaign by the club.
The stanchions along the front of the stand have been set back 2.5 meters and every second stanchion has been omitted. The omission of the stanchions minimises the impact of the stanchions on the viewing experience.
A design with no front stanchions was explored initially but wasn't pursued for budgetary reasons.
The project is currently at tender stage. We're looking forward to taking in a few Tipperary club championship matches in the near future.
